It was the first time we used the house itself for our Home Run barrier- one run for against the house, two if you hit the roof, and three for over the roof to the front yard.<\/p>\n<p>This was also when we developed rules for the younger kids- we stretched an extension cord a few yards past the pitcher\u2019s mound and used that for the pre-teens as their home run line.
