Linda Land greeting us at-what? OMG, I am so sorry! This is NOT Linda, I’ve no idea how this picture got here.

When you visit the same vacation spot for over half a century, you know something has to be done right, and Linda Land is that something. Every year she goes out of her way to make sure we are comfortable in her rental homes. Every year she comes by just to say hi and see if we need anything. She arranges for our fishing fleet, provides extra blankets, and even sets up special events, like 2014 when she and Tim arranged a surprise birthday party for our dad, which included a movie viewing (“Tombstone”), a birthday cake, movie theater popcorn, and even theater candy. But she’s not just a landlady- she’s an integral part of our annual Lake Webster experience, one of the family, nice and sweet and fun, and did I mention that cake? By the Cake Ladies?  Got a bucket list? You need to put this at the top- buy a cake from the Cake Lady– best cake ever! Linda would deserve a place in our hearts just for introducing us to the Cake Lady! Of course, she’s so much more than that, but wow- what a great cake. Except, this is about Linda, so forget about that cake. It actually melts in your mouth. Darn it, sorry! Sorry Linda! We love you and thank you for caking such good care of us. I mean, taking such good care of us!
